To detect all defects comprehensively, two distinct images of each tablet side are analyzed. This allows 100% of the tablet surface to be inspected. The new Blu-ray laser technology delivers detailed 3D images (405 nm wavelength), detecting fine engravings, cracks, or holes. High-resolution color cameras with a 5 µm pixel size detect black spots as small as 50 µm on the tablet surface.

With a unique processing technique, the machine ensures gentle distribution on two conveyor belts. It achieves high-speed inspection of up to 300,000 tablets per hour for 5 mm round tablets. Additionally, unusual shapes like elongated, oval, convex, heart-shaped, triangular, or square tablets are sorted easily using simple yet effective format parts.

Its open design and intelligent self-learning algorithms simplify setup and ensure stable operation. Temperature-controlled lighting and ejection control enhance performance. Recipe creation is client-friendly and requires no Proditec intervention. With only four format parts, product changes are quick and simple with the Visitab.
